The dolls with the bases too large for existing displays are in my bedroom amid other clutter that has yet to either find a home or get stored somehow. When the new display is built, and they've found their home at last, I'll upload pics of that as well.

They are really lovely, Aearwen. You have your dolls, I have my dragons. Just as well we're half a country apart, since dragons eat dolls :-)

ROTFL!! Um... I collect dragons too.

In the final pic of the mantle, barely visible behind my kitty is a cast-iron dragon I call "Ashley, my hearth-dragon", and several pieces in the display case pic are dragons - especially the shorter pieces on the top right-hand shelf, and my jade-green dragon candle on the lower left shelf toward the center. FWIW, I have dragons scattered all over the house. The dolls are used to them - and dragons don't like the sound of teenie-tiny ladies screaming at the top of their itty-bitty lungs, something about the pitch and decible levels gives them horrid headaches. :-D

I keep telling you, we're twins... separated sometime before birth, methinks...

ETA: Actually, Ashley, the hearth dragon, is better visible in the very first pic, the "this is where we started" pic. He's not so rusty anymore.

I don't doubt that we are twins. And I guarantee that you and I will meet face-to-face one of these days. It won't be in 2011 - no more money or time for trips this year - already booked. But maybe in 2012 or 2013 - (I know, it's crazy to schedule so far ahead, but I usually do schedule at least a year in advance - LOL).

I, however, don't have dolls. I do have a lot of stuffed animals, though. Do they count?
