This has been a LOOOOOOONG week of fighting a cold. It started by wanting to climb down into my chest with a vengeance, but then did a turn-about and became a head-cold. Well, that's just about cleared up, but the mess that took up residence in my chest is now wanting to go away too; so now I have that wonderful cough that will probably last for at least another week. No fun.

And the weather's turned cold and dreary here too. Winter is definitely here.

I haven't updated this tale for a while now - and you have my apologies. And so, without further ado, I give you:

So many of the fanfiction stories that deal with the mother of Aragorn present her as a supporting cast member second to her son and/or the elves around her. A few present her as having some spirit. This tale will center entirely around Gilraen, and tell the tale of her life among the elves while raising her son, In The House of Elrond.
