She reminded me that NaNo wasn't really rigid on the word count having to accrue to just the one project, so that means that the work I did on IDD the other day COUNTS!!!!
*sounds of joyous cheering and the stomps of a happy dance in the background*
So I present to you my NaNo progress to date:
6159 / 50000 words. 12% done!
