aearwen2 Well, I'm not certain whether this is the second or third entry you've seen. I'm trying to learn to use the LiveJournal-cut feature to put my story behind a link, but the preview doesn't show that working and now I've tried to remove the entry but keep still seeing it....

The help on this site is virtually non-existant. To say I'm frustrated would be a masterpiece of understatement. I've spent the last 1/2 hour messing with something that shouldn't be so difficult. Therefore I hope you will understand that if I'm not more successful the next time I mess with this thing, my time here on LJ will be an extremely limited and short-term thing!!

Date: 2008-05-22 10:52 pm (UTC)The "" command and the "" command at the end of the hidden text only works when you post the message up. The preview stuff allows you to see the text you've written, even the stuff hidden with the lj-cut stuff, because you're still in edit mode.
And there definitely is Help for the various commands available to you, but I forget where it is since I don't need it as often any longer.
Oh, well, 'tis nice to see a post here, anyway. :)
