1. Reply to this post with "UNICORNS", and I will pick five of your icons.
2. Make a post (including the meme info) and talk about the icons I chose.
3. Other people can then comment to you and make their own posts.
4. This will create a never-ending cycle of icon glee.
I got these from
engarian

This one, to me, epitomizes the delicate beauty of Elven architecture. It's supposed to be a scene from Lothlórien, and it certainly reminds me of the great talan in the center of the town where Celeborn & Galadriel lived.

I like to imagine that the Noldor would have star charts that were both scientifically accurate and yet beautiful to look at as objects of art. This reminds me of that.

This has always called to mind a sense of regal elegance, expressed with a simple Christmas tree ball.

LOL! This is my wacky side coming out. You honestly have no idea how off-the-wall I can get sometimes. And, to be honest, there have been times I've wanted to post this at the edge of my office space - especially when I'm really on a roll with my writing Muse.

This is the royal seal of the Elves from Hellboy II - the one that had Luke Goss as Nuada. Even though that movie was about as cornball as it could get, it had truly Elven moments: when Nuada was practicing with his double-bladed sword, the design of the crown he sought once all the pieces were together, the design of his sister's gowns. I just thought it was cool and elegant and Elvish. (I also thought Luke Goss would make a pretty decent-looking Thranduil, although he'd need to deepen his voice...)
Anybody else wanna play?
