aearwen2Every once in a while, one hears from a reader who then proceeds to make a person feel like they're walking on air. A couple of days ago, a reader did exactly that to me.
She had read in here when I did my 2010 Fanfiction Year in Review, my list of things I would love to see illustrated - and then she went ahead and gave me one of the illustrations I had said I would like. She is a very talented lady, and I was overwhelmed by the idea that she liked "In The House of Elrond" well enough to take the time to do such a fantastic job of illustration.
In order to not encumber the screens of those with narrow setting, I'm gonna put it under the cut - but do take a look. Needless to say, I'm working on acquiring the original, which I will frame and hang on my wall. There are few finer ways to tell a writer you appreciate their work than this, I swear.
