This is such a delightful story, sad as Ivo and her siblings' background is.
I've been privileged, of course, to see it grow and develop on GoI, which means that I know how much work and how much love you have poured into it.
And it shows, too! :-)

Excellent take on Minas Tirith after the war: Gondor is a supertanker and you don't just turn those on a new course, it takes time. New rulers and new laws aren't automatically implemented in more than just the letter, and certainly some 'bad apples' have had a much too easy time during and after the war, when there were more serious issues to be dealt with.
