Oh my gosh! I am feeling just a little overwhelmed, much like Ivoreth must be feeling and I will have to re-read this chapter again, for fear I missed something.
I wonder why she didn't tell the others that her Da never called her by her name - it seems that he treated her rather badly in the way he called her - almost like she was a slave.
And will she ever tell the whole story once and for all to those who need to know it? I fear that she may never really recouperate until she does, because there will always be shadows of lingering fears and doubts in her mind, and that will cloud the relationships she has with her new family.
I noticed that Glorfindel and even Gandalf are not in this tale. Is there a reason why? I would imagine that both or one of them may even help Ivoreth even more...
