Hubby is much, MUCH better. Ended up spending a total of 10 days in hospital, 6 of them in ICU, the rest in "Acute Rehab" getting him ready to come home. He's been home 6 days now, and is FINALLY done with the IV antibiotics. I had to learn how to administer them thru the PIC line they put into his arm (and he's hoping gets taken out when he sees his doctor tomorrow.)
I have quite a few more grey hairs than I did when this whole mess started - altho the LONG walk to ICU and then further to AR helped in that I'm doing some walking again (much needed.) I spent the first few days after Bill's collapse pretty much in shock, worried out of my gourd. I'm slowly getting back to normal - or whatever passes for normal for me.
