aearwen2Coming out of having daughter Súl do my nails for the month, I tripped over the tire stop thing and did a face-plant into the asphalt in the parking lot. Bloody nose, banged up knee, wrist VERY sore (probably sprained) and road rash on the left side of my face.
No, I didn't let the EMTs take me to the ER. I came home, put ice on everything that REALLY hurt, and slept for a while. Hubby made me lunch and fixed my glasses (bent them out of shape too) and he'll fix supper tonite too so I don't have to. Will see chiropractor in the next day or so, and a regular Dr. if my wrist continues to give me grief. I need to play the piano on Sunday, so won't let it hang very long at all.
I feel like a total idiot, and I hurt like the dickens. Súl chewed me out for not having my cane handy. So if I'm AWOL for a while, you guys will know why...
