NaNo - Day 1

Not bad for a first day's work. The good news was that I've been musing about the opening sentence of this for almost a week, so that first about 500 words quite literally wrote themselves. After that, I was starting to feel comfortable in my setting and with my characters. I'll need to enter some of the information I've dreamed up while actually writing into Maple, where I keep all my notes and character/world information and plot outline.

My plan for this is to average 2000 words per day, six days a week. I'm taking Sundays off partly because I sometimes have other obligations that will interfere with the writing and partly to give myself a day of respite (maybe) to recharge energies for the next six days.



Keep your fingers crossed for me that I succeed in getting this one at least pounded out in first draft mode before the end of November.

I'm really kinda excited about this now! Yay!!
