I've "borrowed" this meme from [livejournal.com profile] lifefailsme - and I'll try to post 2 answers a day until I've caught up and then one a day thereafter until the end of 2017. All of this, of course, being my way of countering the current apparent abandonment of LJ by American users - which I think is both unnecessary and possibly detrimental if done before there's a real reason to worry. Yes, I do have a Dreamwidth account - which I NEVER use, and never will until or unless LJ becomes a vast virtual wasteland where I see none of my friends anymore. And NO, I have no intentions of either heading to Tumblr or Twitter, as I feel both are wastes of virtual space.

But now, without further ado, I'll post the 365 questions under the cut - and make a separate posting answering the first two questions. Again, two questions a day until my question number matches my day number, and then one question a day to the end thereafter...

Edit: I'm gonna add asterisks next to the questions I've answered, so that I can find which one is next as time goes on. Thanks for bearing with me.

That ought to keep me a bit more visible this year, eh? :D

By my shaky math skills, I figure I have 2 weeks of posting two questions a day before I'm caught up. So today...

#1: What is your number one goal this year?

I have a few, depending on what activity I'm talking about:

1. I'd like to have my shoulders working better, so I could actually try to play my little cross-strung harp a bit.
2. I need to spend more time practicing piano.
3. I need to finish "I Dhaerlend Dadui".
4. I need to finish all my crochet projects (currently standing at 2 blankets (afghans, really), 1 bedspread, 1 pair of slipper/boots.)

If I had to choose just one goal, however, I'd go with #3: finishing "I Dhaerlend Dadui" - and actually starting to post it publically. So many of my LOTR fics take place during and/or after the events of that story, that it really is vital to get it done and out.

#2: What are you most grateful for?

I'm most grateful for the fact that my hubby hasn't needed to be hospitalized since this past August - and after a year and a half of being in hospital for 5 - 7 days and then out for on average 6 weeks before getting sick and needing to go back in again, over 5 months with no hospital visits is fantastic!!!!!!!!!!

See y'all tomorrow...
